Latest On Acerola Cherry
Also commonly referred to as Barbados cherry, acerola is a cherry-like fruit that is commonly used as a dried powder for its super concentrated amounts of vitamin C. A valuable adjunct to the diet and an essential nutrient needed for many bodily functions, acerola is a whole-food-based vitamin C which contains the active ascorbic acid ingredient PLUS an important complex of other nutritional cofactors that make it easy for the body to digest and assimilate.
The fruit is not typically eaten fresh, as it has a sour tart taste, but is commonly used as a powder in drinks, foods, and recipes. It is most frequently found as a freeze-dried powder or as a spray-dried water extract. These are created from raw skins and fruit pulp which are processed immediately upon harvest.

Ia paling kerap ditemui sebagai serbuk kering beku atau sebagai ekstrak air kering semburan. Ini dihasilkan daripada kulit mentah dan pulpa buah yang diproses serta-merta selepas dituai.)
